Verizon’s Samsung Galaxy Nexus is finally available in stores, and while Verizon is selling this 4G LTE Android smartphone for $299.99 with a new contract, better deals are just around the corner.

Verizon Wireless had previously let us all know that they were planning another phase of the 4G LTE network roll-out for today. But that being said, despite knowing that it was coming — it is still nice to see this day arrive.

Earlier today Verizon announced official availability dates and pricing details for the highly anticipated Samsung Galaxy Nexus, after initially confirming that the handset will hit stores this year. The phone is going to be available in stores tomorrow and it will cost $299.99 when purchased with new two-year contracts.

A few hours ago we told you that Verizon has confirmed the Galaxy Nexus was going to be launched in 2011 without actually providing a release date and we wondered at the time whether the carrier will launch the handset tomorrow, December 15, as rumored before, or whether it will [...]

It’s December 14, which means we have one more day to go until the U.S. launch of the Galaxy Nexus, at least according to some sources. But Verizon is not ready to issue a press release to confirm the launch yet.

We had already known that Verizon Wireless was planning to release the Droid RAZR in white. And well, it looks like the carrier has come forward without some release details — including both the release date and price. Nicely done, that release date is coming up rather soon.

Those sporting a Droid Incredible 2 smartphone with Verizon may want to be on the lookout for a software update. The update has been officially detailed by Verizon and at this time is simply noted as “coming soon.” That being said, we suspect the update will begin rolling out sooner [...]

The Samsung Galaxy Nexus is the most anticipated Android smartphone in town, but let’s not forget that Verizon is currently selling a bunch of other interesting Android 4G LTE devices including the newly launched Motorola Droid RAZR and the HTC Rezound.
