That was fast. While news has it that Sharp wants to release its Aquos smartphone line to the American, European and Chinese and other markets within the year, the clamshell form factor 007SH is already being applied for FCC certification.

Sharp has already launched its Aquos smartphone line in Japan, which all boast of Sharp’s Aquos TV connectivity and graphics engine. Sharp is planning to release Aquos phones internationally within the year.
